Department of Defense Education Activity's-Europe West District operates schools on Spangdahlem Air Base with classes ranging from Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The Spangdahlem Elementary School is for grades PK-5, Spangdahlem Middle School is for grades 6-8, and Spangdahlem High School is for grades 9-12.

Bus service is available in some areas for families with school-age children living on the local economy.

Student Age Requirements

• Four years old on or by September 1st of the school year to attend Universal Pre-K
• Five years old on or by September 1st of the school year to attend kindergarten
• Six years old on or by September 1st of the school year to attend first grade

Necessary Documentation for Enrollment

• Sponsor's orders
• Immunization records
• Sealed records from and address of previous school
• Birth certificate and passport (kindergarten and 1st grade)
