• Germany recently moved the United States to their list of “High Risk” locations requiring a negative COVID test within 48-hours of arriving and requiring a digital registration at  https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/1 . If you need to convert to English click on the tab in the right hand corner of the screen.   If OCONUS, and Germany requires registration to be accomplished take appropriate action.

• Germany has implemented Country entrance requirements requiring passengers to digitally register before they travel to Germany.  Passangers arriving must show proof of registering before Customs/Immigrations will clear them into the country.  A fine up to 25,000 Euros could be imposed on each passenger not registering and not able to provide proof.  This applies for anyone destined for Germany.

  Proof of registration is accomplished in one of the following:

  1.   Provide a hard copy print of the PDF file provided in an email back to the passenger when registration is complete or a website notification stating registration is submitted or complete.

  2.   Provide a digital copy of the same requirement as a screenshot on the passenger’s phone.  Recommend saving the screenshot as a photo or file to display to German customs in case the phone service does not operate upon arrival into Germany.

  3.   If unable to accomplish the digital registration, a manual form can be accomplished.

• Passengers without proof of registration will not be allowed to check in to country until the registration is complete and we will not be able to delay the departure of the mission.
