Nix grocery bags, save aircraft

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – A plastic bag rests in the grass near the flightline here Nov. 8. Foreign object debris like this can damage government equipment. The 52nd Fighter Wing’s foreign object damage manager, in collaboration with base civilian agencies, provided re-usable grocery bags to Airmen and their families at the commissary in an effort to enhance recognition of the dangers loose debris have on the base’s flying mission.
