Trier to host holiday concert, circus

Christmas Moments invites largest holiday show of Germany in the Eifel

The annual Trier "Christmas Moments" holiday concert is presently touring the country and will perform their final show in Trier, Germany, Dec. 23.

Base members are welcome to enjoy traditional holiday music, including gospel, pop and classical tunes and compositions, presented in a lovely, modern show with special video and light effects. Music and songs are partially in English and German.

The performance aims to spread holiday spirit, and at the same time supports charity and honors friendship and respect for each other this is the theme for "Christmas Moments," according to organizers.

Trier Christmas Circus attracts small and tall with holiday fun 

For the 10th year, the ancient Roman city of Trier becomes the site for a spectacular holiday event, the Trier Christmas Circus, to be held in a tent in the city's Moselauen fairgrounds from Dec. 24 - Jan. 4, 2015.

The circus will offer shows including acrobatic and small animal acts, and clown performances.

The circus is open to families with small children and all circus lovers, and it also been praised by adults.

Highlights of this year's show include world-famous artists on a flying trapeze, performances by several world-famous acrobats, a group of farm animals and the "Globe of Death" performance.

Show up about 30 minutes early in order to find parking, purchase tickets and locate seats in time for the show to start. Shows are about 2.5 hours long with intermission. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase, and a small Christmas market will be available.

Shows are daily at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. except for Dec. 23, the day of the debut, which includes invited guests - this performance is already booked out. Shows are at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Dec. 28. There will be no shows on Dec. 24 or on New Year's Day.
