The 52nd Fighter Wing will celebrate various cultures Aug. 26 with its second annual Diversity Day. This day-long event will highlight the many races, religions, ethnicities, cultures, languages and more that make both the 52nd FW and the Air Force a diverse and culturally-rich environment. All Sabers and their families are invited to participate in Diversity Day, offering food, entertainment, displays, children's activities and more.

Schedule of events:

7:30 a.m. - 5K Fun Run at the fitness center

Club Eifel ballroom

9 a.m. - Opening of Diversity Day
9:15 a.m. - Gospel Ambassadors
9:30 a.m. - Asian martial arts demonstration
10 a.m. and 2 p.m. - The Island Dancers
10: 30 a.m. - Odissea Caribbean Band
11:30 a.m. - Double Dutch Jump Rope Group
12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. - Direct Hit USAFE Rock /Pop Band
1 p.m. - Hula dance performance
1:08 p.m. - Latin dance performance
2:30 p.m. - Instruments of Praise Dancers
2:35 p.m. - Spoken Word, Piano Performance
3 p.m. - Parade starting at Club Eifel, heading toward the medical clinic and returning to Club Eifel
All day - children's activities

1 p.m. - Ethiopian flat bread & African wali wa maki
Various times throughout the day - Hot dogs, apple pie, German coffee and cakes, and Asian cuisine
