Why joined: The main reason I joined was to broaden my horizons and gain life experience; I came from a town of 80 people and there were already two banjo players.

Family: My wife, Kelsie Purser, works at the golf course as a recreation aid.

Hobbies: Metal detecting, recording music, hiking, fishing, and ghost hunting.

Favorite aspect of job: Networking, meeting new people and having a "hands-on" role in the medical care of Spandahlem's population.

Most memorable Air Force experience: Accepting a dare to be tased by security forces. The worst five seconds of my life. It was so much fun that I will never do it again.

How do you make responsible choices: Simple, think before you act. Make sure 100 percent that you know what you're doing so the rewards will outweigh the consequences.
