Bitburg invites to annual Beda spring market

The city of Bitburg will host its' annual Beda market March 20-22. 

The Beda Market is a community-wide event where more than 100 local businesses present their products and services at the exhibition tents and elsewhere.

The market will offer exhibitions, sales stands, a car show, book market, a display of agricultural vehicles, a book market, a farmer's market, children's rides, food and beverage stands and more.

The 2015 Beda market will open its' doors at March 20 10:45 a.m.; however, most activities start off March 21 at 10 a.m. 

Many stands and shops in the center of town will stay open March 22 from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. Store opening times are from 1 to 6 p.m.

A variety of homemade cakes as well as regional food products, also fruit, meats and a variety of different vegetables and beverages will be available for purchase at the Farmer's Hall located on Triererstrasse.

Visitors can also expect to see handcrafts made by local artisans and enjoy Easter decoration at the tents and vending booths.

Activity locations are the Bedaplatz, the Bedahouse, exhibition tents, local banks and the House of Youth. Artifacts will be on display at the tents and at the House of Youth.

It is recommended for weekend shoppers to park outside the center March 22 and take the free shuttle bus to the activities.
