Class 10-8 graduates ALS

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany --  The Pitsenbarger Airman Leadership School hosted a graduation ceremony for class 10-8 Sept. 29 at Club Eifel.

Through class discussions, lectures and evaluations, the students dedicate five challenging weeks to learning the skills necessary to assume the responsibilities of a first-line supervisor in the Air Force.

As a class, the Airmen of 10-8 supported their local community through various volunteer and fundraising opportunities. The students hosted a pie-in-the-face contest which raised more than $400 for the Wounded Warrior Foundation at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Also, in an effort to help fellow Sabers make responsible choices, 16 students handed out ride for life cards at the gate. In addition, the students raised more than $500 for a golf outing at the Eifel Mountain Golf Course for staff sergeants and below. Every participant enjoyed 18 holes of free golf, and they each left with prizes.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the formal professional military education awards. The Class 10-8 award winners are:
