Wing commander hosts dormitory all call

Col. Tip Wight, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, will host three dormitory residents' all calls Oct. 13 at 6 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. These meetings are mandatory for all Airmen who live in the dorms.

The purpose of the all call is to discuss recommendations sent to the wing commander by the dormitory management team.

The 52nd Fighter Wing established a dormitory council in September 2008. The motto of that council is "Your choice ... your voice." The purpose of the dorm council is to generate ideas to improve health, morale and safety for all dorm residents and to serve as a link between dorm residents and wing leadership though a dormitory management team.

This dormitory management team is chaired by Chief Master Sgt. Bruce Kenney, 52nd Fighter Wing command chief, with the cooperation of the First Sergeant's Council, dorm management and each respective dorm council. This team gives each dorm council the ability to interact with wing leadership and allow for residents to have their voices heard on concerns in the dorms. Those recommendations are then sent to the wing commander for his approval.
