SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Name: Staff Sgt. Nadia N. Warsame

Unit: 52nd Force Support Squadron

Duty title: NCO in charge of Personnel Employment

Hometown: Columbus, Ohio

Years in Service: Five years

Why I joined: I joined the Air Force because I wanted to do something no one in my family has done before. I wanted to be different, and I love the idea of moving to a different location every two years if not sooner.

Hobbies: Reading, traveling and shopping

Favorite aspect of job: Being able to sit down with customers and assist them in any way I can.

Most memorable Air Force experience: Attending the Air Force Enlisted Heritage Dining Out at my first base. I was initially unexcited because my first sergeant at the time made me attend, but I ended up having fun. It's definitely an experience that I will never forget.

How do you make responsible choices: When in doubt, just don't do it.
