The 52nd Comptroller Squadron Customer Service office here temporarily relocated Oct. 19 due to a renovation project to upgrade the section.

The construction is scheduled for two weeks, and the office can now be found on the second floor of Bldg. 128, room 211.

"The renovation is an upgrade to increase our professional image," said Senior Airman Jeff Russell, 52nd CPTS relocations technician. "We provide great customer service as a whole -- we have the capability, we have the personality. This relocation is a temporary problem to a permanent solution to enhance the overall customer-service environment."

The $50,000 renovation includes a size extension of the customer service lobby, and new carpet and office furniture, he said. Before the renovation, the reception area seated roughly 10 people and was about 150 square feet. Once completed, it will seat up to 20 people and be about 400 square feet.

During the two-week relocation, Sabers should not experience any changes in finance operations.

"The finance office will have the same capabilities as before," Russell said. "We'll still provide the same customer-support quality that everyone has come to expect. We have a great facility and a great team who provides the best support available."

Sabers are urged to practice patience and understanding during this relocation period, Russell said. The temporary office was not designed as a customer-service area.

"We're giving the best customer service we can to our Sabers and their families," said Maj. Gerald Stevenson, 52nd CPTS commander. "This renovation is just one example of how we do that."
