Name: Airman 1st Class Corey Kingsbury

Unit: Detachment 9, American Forces Network Spangdahlem

Duty title: Broadcast producer

Hometown: Pensacola, Fla.

Years in Service: One year and one month

Why joined: I'm a little older than most Airmen, and I came to a point where I wanted to do more with my life.

Family:My dad retired from the Air Force and my mom is currently active duty serving in Korea. I have a 23-year-old brother in the Air Force stationed at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., and three other younger brothers 12, 9 and 8. Yes, the Air Force has been good to my family.

Hobbies: Sports, sports and more sports.

Favorite aspect of job: Helping every Airman in the local area with their daily lives and hopefully making it a little easier for them.

Most memorable Air Force experience: Coaches, players and parents of the Bitburg High School Barons football team thanking me for the TV and radio spots created covering their entire season. I know the seniors will remember that last year of football their entire lives, and that's why I did it.

How do you make responsible choices: I've learned that life isn't hard, but sometimes people make it hard. I try to make smart decisions every day focusing on the long term effects.
