Spangdahlem SERE Prepares 1-214 GSAB for Survival Challenges

U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Zachary Rumke 52nd Operations Support Squadron, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) non-commissioned officer in charge, congratulates a U.S. Army Soldier assigned to Easy Company, 1st General Support Aviation Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment, after efficiently escaping a Shallow Water Egress Trainer (SWET) chair at Baumholder, Germany, Oct. 25, 2023. The Soldiers had to demonstrate their water survival skills by releasing themselves from their seats and swimming out of the SWET chair, simulating exiting a submerged helicopter.
