Astral Knight 2020: Enhancing regional security
A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon takes off from the flightline at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, in support of Astral Knight 2020, on Sept. 21, 2020. Exercises like Astral Knight allow U.S. Air Forces in Europe to assess and improve tactics and procedures in a realistic environment. U.S. Air Force units routinely deploy to various locations in Europe to train with mission partners and NATO allies in order to improve interoperability and readiness. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
