Bulgaria, US commence joint air policing
A Bulgarian air force Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter aircraft assigned to the 3rd Air Force Base flies releases its parachute during a landing on the flightline during joint NATO air policing at Graf Ignatievo, Bulgaria, Sept. 8, 2016. Four California and Massachusetts Air National Guards’ F-15C Eagle fighter aircraft and approximately 75 Airmen from the 194th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron deployed to Graf Ignatievo, Bulgaria, and will stand ready as interceptors, prepared to quickly react to any violations and infringements for policing of Bulgarian airspace Sept. 9-16, 2016.
