Base gives tour to new Rhineland-Palatinate state secretary

A 52nd Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller gives a tour of the Spangdahlem air traffic control tower to Randolph Stich, Rhineland-Palatinate deputy minister of the interior and Elena Mazzola, German department liaison of military forces Oct. 22, 2015, at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The Dining Facility at Spangdahlem Air Base opened its doors once again after several months of renovations that made meal service unavailable to the Saber community, April 10, 2017. Upgrades to the DFAC include new kitchen equipment like ovens and a walk in fridge, air conditioning installed in the kitchen, a new service line, repainting the walls and adding murals in the dining rooms to reflect the base's connection to the local community.
