Base gives tour to new Rhineland-Palatinate state secretary
A 52nd Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller gives a tour of the Spangdahlem air traffic control tower to Randolph Stich, Rhineland-Palatinate deputy minister of the interior and Elena Mazzola, German department liaison of military forces Oct. 22, 2015, at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The tower stands nearly 150 feet tall and serves as a hub for air traffic controllers directing the 52nd Fighter Wing’s aircraft and other aircraft in its air zone.
