Combat controllers build relationship with Polish Special Forces
Four A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron line up during austere landing training at Nowe Miasto, Poland, July 21, 2015. Pilots performed landings on the unimproved surface during both day and night. Pilots will use night vision goggles when there is no available light. The aircraft deployed to Poland in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve to bolster air power capabilities while underscoring the U.S. commitment to European security and stability.
