Boeing P-8 Poseidon seeks out submarines
U.S. Navy Lt. Terrey Plum, and U.S. Navy Lt. Bradley Albachten, Patrol Squadron Eight control plane pilots from Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla., land a Boeing P-8 Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, during a BALTOPS 2015 mission June 13, 2015. The aircraft is in Europe to participate in BALTOPS 2015, an annual allied interoperability exercise that will allow ground, maritime and air forces from participating nations to demonstrate air defense, maritime interdiction, anti-subsurface warfare, mine countermeasures and amphibious operations in a joint environment to ensure regional security.
