Community leaders tour Saber nation

Community and business leaders of the Eifel region examine the Air Traffic Control Simulator Equipment during a visit to the air traffic control tower at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, May 22, 2015. The ATCSE is used to train air traffic controllers by simulating the view from the ATC tower while having the ability to change weather conditions, visibility and time of day during take-offs and landings of aircraft. Controllers may also utilize a feature allowing them a view from the pilot’s perspective. The leaders toured the air traffic control areas on the flightline as part of the 52nd Fighter Wing’s community relations program. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Luke Kitterman/Released)
