Learning in action
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Students from Spangdahlem Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade gifted education class display books they created while learning about World War II in Europe. The student’s study included a chronological look at the rise of the Nazi party, appointment of Adolf Hitler as Chancellor of Germany, the D Day landings and liberation of the death camps throughout Europe. Each student chose and researched a Holocaust topic and the information they learned was published in hardback book form, which can be viewed at the Spangdahlem Base library. (Courtesy photo)
