Hard at work

DIVULJE TRAINING BASE, Croatia – U.S. Air Force medical personnel join together to learn how to assemble tents April 30. The tents are Expeditionary Medical Squadron (EMEDS) +10 tents designed to provide patient care for ten or more people as a mobile field hospital. Members of this team are deployed from Spangdahlem Air Base, Ramstein Air Base and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, all in Germany, for the 2008 Medical Training Exercise in Central and Eastern Europe (MEDCEUR). Fifteen nations are participating in the exercise from May 2 through 14. The exercise focuses on mass-casualty training scenarios and humanitarian aid in response to crises situations.
