Airmen, international community honor recovered World War II MIAs

HENRI-CHAPELLE, Belgium -- The rosette next to Staff Sgt. Walter O. Schlosser’s engraved name signifies he is no longer missing in action. Sergeant Schlosser was part of the McMurray Crew, which flew the B-24 bomber during World War II. The remains of the crew and parts of their aircraft were discovered in a field southwest of Berlin in 2002. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt. Kathleen Polesnak)
