SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Airmen in the 606th Air Control Squadron geared-up and mounted nine heavy-duty trucks to convoy down a 52-mile stretch of the autobahn here June 25. The unit conducts this training semi-annually, depending on deployment tasking, to maintain their proficiency driving large tactical vehicles enabling them to respond to any U.S. European Command or NATO tasking throughout Europe.
