Airmen explore the Eifel

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The Tetraeder in Bottrop, Germany, is a man-made tetrahedron built by the architect Wolfgang Christ in 1995. The Tetraeder has stairs and an observation deck that looks out at the surrounding area of Essen and Bottrop.
