SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany— Chief Master Sgt. Robert Appling, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron, taunts spectators after falling into the dunk tank July 10. This, along with the gladiator-style Jeep Jouster event and an all-you-can-eat barbeque, was set up for the members of the 52nd Fighter Wing as a reward for receiving an excellent rating the wing’s Unit Compliance and Logistical Standardization and Evaluation Program inspections. Sabers were graded during UCIs held in Feb. 22-27 and June 8-12 and the LSET June 8-12. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Nick Wilson)
