Airmen wrangle liquid fuels
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Senior Airman Ivan Alandzak and Airman 1st Class Jennea Allen, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron, replace a single point nozzle over a drip-pan on one of Spangdahlem Air Base’s truck refueling stands July 23. The 52nd CES Liquid Fuels Flight changes and repairs the nozzles in the event there is damage or a leak. The liquid fuels flight manages 2,300 meters of fuel pipeline, 23 underground fuel tanks and 8.2 million gallons of JP-8. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Benjamin Wilson)
