Commander shadows an Airman
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Mary Bucher, 52nd Medical Operations Squadron medical technician, checks Col. Darryl Roberson’s, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, blood pressure. Colonel Roberson spent time with Airman Bucher July 9 as part of his Commander Shadow Program. Airman Bucher, who has been in the Air Force for one year and eight months, is one of the first people to assess a patient’s condition upon arrival to their medical appointment. Airman Bucher’s goal is to not only complete her Community College of the Air Force degree, but to receive her veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M.
