Spangdahlem Elementary School students send "Hugs for the Holidays"
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Lindsay Simmons, 52nd Force Support Squadron, helps 5-year-old Katarina Witham make a life-size poster of herself Dec. 9 during the "Hugs for the Holidays" event in the Spangdahlem Elementary School gym to send to her mother, Tech. Sgt Katarina Withum, 52nd Operation Support Squadron, who is currently deployed. The "Hugs for the Holidays" program is for students at SES to send replicas of themselves to family members who are deployed or TDY during the holidays.
