Dental squadron teaches young Sabers dental care during National Children's Dental Health Month
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany –Representatives from the 52nd Dental Squadron teach a fourth grade class the proper brushing and flossing techniques, tooth anatomy, the importance of fluoride and the dangers of smoking Feb. 9 at the Bitburg Elementary School. Each February, the American Dental Association sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month. In addition to visiting elementary and middle schools, the 52nd DS is opening the Spangdahlem Dental Clinic Feb. 27 to offer walk-ins for children up to 10 years of age.
