Sabers process for deployment during Phase I exercise

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman Jessica Melchin, 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron supply journeyman, escorts Staff Sgt. Ronald Armstrong, 52nd Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, through a simulated personnel deployment function line to pick up his mobility gear during a Phase I operational readiness exercise Feb. 25. The exercise evaluated the 52nd Fighter Wing’s ability to prepare for a real-world rapid deployment of personnel and assets to a forward-operating base.
