52nd SFS responds to sniper attack, infiltrator in restricted area during Operation Saber Crown 10-04

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Staff Sgt. Donald McKenzie, 52nd Security Forces Squadron, scans the horizon for an enemy infiltrator after reports of simulated sniper fire came across the radio during Operation Saber Crown 10-04 here March 3. Members of the 52nd Fighter Wing participated in the Phase II exercise to evaluate the wing’s ability to operate in a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive environment and to prepare the wing for the NATO force evaluation this summer.
