52nd SFS responds to sniper attack, infiltrator in restricted area during Operation Saber Crown 10-04
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Senior Airman Zachary Byrd, 52nd Security Forces Squadron, prepares to search the body of an enemy infiltrator after simulating use of deadly force to prevent the infiltrator from further breaching the perimeter on the flightline March 3. Members of the 52nd Fighter Wing participated in Operation Saber Crown 10-04 to evaluate the wing’s ability to operate in a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive environment and to prepare the wing for the NATO force evaluation this summer.
