Bernkastel wine fest
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- A group of wine queens from the Mosel area participate in a past Bernkastel Middle Mosel parade. This year’s parade is scheduled at 2 p.m. Sept. 5, featuring close to 100 floats, fanfares and bands parading through the city. The Bernkastel wine festival, which takes place Sept. 2-6 this year, is a highlight event in the Mosel valley. (Courtesy photo)
