Travel Journal: Sabers visit Eternal City with ITT
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Remains of the Roman Forum, which used to be Roman government buildings located in the center of the ancient city, can be seen at the bottom of Palatino Hill. Some of the buildings that once stood in the Forum include a shrine to Vulcan, a complex for the Vestal Virgins, the senate, other government offices, tribunals and statues. Twenty-six service members and civilians booked a trip to Rome Dec. 21 – 25 with the 52nd Force Support Squadron’s Information, Tickets and Travel office. (USAF photo/Master Sgt. Kelley J. Stewart)
