Getting ready for Red Flag

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Baggage belonging to Airmen from the 480th Aircraft Maintenance Unit is staged for loading Jan. 7 in the 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron building and shipped to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., where the Airmen will be supporting pilots from the 480th Fighter Squadron during a Red Flag training exercise. Members from the 480th AMU are being flown to Nellis AFB to provide maintenance for deploying F-16 Fighting Falcons participating in Red Flag Jan. 22 – Feb. 4.
