Healthy salad

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- To get in shape for spring, eat lighter and focus more on foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber and whole-grain products. In addition, eat less fat, fewer sweets, less animal protein and plenty of fresh salads, vegetables, potatoes and fruit. Any salad like this one, including lettuce, artichokes, tomatoes, walnut, fruits and other healthy and low fat items is a great way to start. (U.S. Air Force photo/Iris Reiff)
