BITBURG, Germany – Outside the Bauernhalle, or Farmers’ Market hall, butchers cut up roasted pork and serve it to visitors at a past Beda market event in Bitburg, Germany. Bitburg was called Beda in Celtic times, from which the market’s name originates. Entry is free. Opening times are noon to 6 p.m. March 18 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 19 and 20.
