Saber USAFE half-marathon team member
WRIGHT- PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Airman 1st Class Ryan Jelstrom, U.S. Air Forces in Europe running team member, left, unites with his father, Greg Jelstrom, after finishing the U.S. Air Force Marathon’s half marathon Sept. 17 at Wright – Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio with a time of 01:28:00. Jelstrom is a flight equipment maintainer with the 480th Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. He was recruited for the USAFE team after placing 3rd in the USAFE half marathon at Spangdahlem AB. He placed 59 out of approximately 6,600 racers in the USAF Marathon’s half marathon.
