Binsfeld Forest Walk
BINSFELD, Germany -- A local forest master, right, introduces himself to a group of participants of the annual forest walk here Oct. 9. Among the 52nd Fighter Wing’s participants were Col. David Julazadeh, vice commander; his wife, Kate; Bernhard Schaefer, community relations advisor; and his wife, Gertrud. Nearly 100 people came to the walk that went through the Binsfeld Kaasweg forested area. The forest master taught children about trees, plants and animals in the Eifel area during the walk. The community invited all participants to a traditional soup luncheon at the town hall after the walk. (U.S. Air Force photo/Iris Reiff)
