Firefighters train to protect

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Brien Tarkington, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, gears up before live fire training here Oct. 19. Live fire training is mandatory for firefighters to complete twice a year. The training ensures firefighters are able to perform required core tasks in the event of an aircraft fire to protect lives and U.S. government assets.
