Sabers commemorate WWII Battle of the Bulge soldiers
BASTOGNE, Belgium – Members of the 81st Fighter Squadron and their families visit the Mardasson Memorial Nov. 4 here. This memorial is dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the Battle of the Bulge in Dec. 1944. The visit to this memorial was a part of an 81st FS family day. The Airmen and their families also visited other WWII memorials and sites dedicated to the soldiers who lost and risked their lives to liberate Belgium and Luxembourg in WWII.
