Sabers commemorate WWII Battle of the Bulge soldiers
BASTOGNE, Belgium – Col. Chris Weggeman, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, and his son, Sam, view the memorial stone at the Mardrasson Memorial Nov. 4 here. The memorial is dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the Battle of the Bulge in Dec. 1944. Weggeman visited this memorial and other World War II sites with members of the 81st Fighter Squadron and their families as part of a squadron family day.
