Nix grocery bags, save aircraft

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Staff Sgt. Idris Royal, 52nd Force Support Squadron, pushes a button on a commissary self-service checkout machine here Nov. 15 to allow the use of a personal, re-usable bag for grocery storage. The 52nd Fighter Wing’s foreign object damage manager, in collaboration with base civilian agencies, provided re-usable grocery bags to Airmen and their families at the commissary in an effort to enhance recognition of the dangers loose debris have on the base’s flying mission.
