Airmen complete munition-load qaulification
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airmen assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron slide a LAU-117 launcher onto an AGM-65 missile before loading the complete assembly on an A-10 Thuderbolt II during a munitions-loading evaluation here Nov. 29. The evaluation ensures load-crew members and team chiefs retain their qualification to load all munitions and are ready for mission taskings. Crew members complete an evaluation every month and are required to be evaluated annually while wearing chemical-warfare gear. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Dillon Davis)
