PMEL CCP reduces Air Force expenditures
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Staff Sgt. Joseph Robinson, 52nd Component Maintenance Squadron electronic warfare craftsman, prepares a hydraulic-line pressure gauge assembly inside the precision measurement equipment laboratory centralized collection point (PMEL CCP) here Jan. 18 for an upcoming delivery. PMEL CCP saves the Air Force money by gathering equipment from 77 separate unit accounts and delivering them to the precision measurement equipment laboratory at Ramstein Air Base in one truckload rather than 77 separate trips. The PMEL CCP delivers unit equipment ranging from a torque wrench to radio frequency signal generators used to calibrate aircraft avionics systems.
