Children work together during deployment day
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE Germany-- Staff Sgt. Savanna Bowers, 52nd Force Support Squadron, issues a deployment bag to a child during the Children Deployment Day here June 21. Volunteers issued children ID cards, shirts, hats, cameras, activity books and a deployment bag. The event gave children the opportunity to experience different stages of the deployment process which allows them to better understand what their parents go through on a deployment.
