AFN maintenance ensure quality broadcast
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Staff Sgt. Modesto Alcala, American Forces Network Detachment 9 broadcast maintenance supervisor, inserts a playlist into the local AFN TV broadcast system at the broadcast maintenance shop here Aug. 28. This allows the detachment to air local command information on Spangdahlem cable and satellite TV channels. The maintenance shop helps AFN entertain and provide command information to their audience by ensuring all necessary equipment is fully operational.
