52nd CES makes water safe for environment
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany –Senior Airman David Spivey, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron water and fuels system maintenance technician, conducts a sediment test at the wastewater treatment facility here Sept. 5. This test is conducted to ensure the excess non-soluble material is sifted out prior to the water treatment. Samples are taken daily from every stage of the treatment process to ensure they meet German environmental standards.
