First week of RARO 12 wraps up
NAMEST AIR BASE, Czech Republic -- A member of the 81st Aircraft Maintenance Unit looks on as A-10 Thunderbolt IIs take off for a close-air-support night mission Sept. 14 during Ramstein Rover 2012 here. RARO 12 is a NATO exercise focused on preparing forward air controllers for contingency operations.
